AUGUST 2008
TIME CHANGE!!!  We'll play at 8:30, not 7:20.  We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. Tuesday night, 19 August, we will be playing at Banjo Jim's at 9th Street and Avenue C in Manhattan!  We would dearly love to see some of our friends at this gig...we hope you can make it!  We will play a 20-minute set at 8:20, and then back our friend Rick Snyder, who will be our host that evening.  It should be a lot of fun - you won't want to miss it!

Saturday, 13 December - Once again we will bring our Christmas show [and Bonnie Wisnowski] to the Roots Music Coffee House in Danbury CT.  Please join us for a special evening of seasonal tunes.

JANUARY 2008
Saturday, 19 January - Molten Java 102 Greenwood Ave. Bethel CT  FREE SHOW!  We will play from 8 PM until closing.

Saturday, 26 January - Open Mic at the The Coffee House in New Fairfield CT.  It's located in Heritage Plaza, on rt. 39, just east of the junction of Route 37 and Rt. 39 (the first traffic light; plaza is on the right side of the road, across from Shaws supermarket).  We close the Open Mic portion of the show [around 8:30], and the headliner is CT bluesman Dan Stevens.  Admission is $5.

Thursday, 7 February [date changed from the 21st!] - We will be playing the Songwriter's Den at Thataway Cafe, 409 Greenwich Ave.,  Greenwich, CT.  The featured artist that night is Artie Tobia; we hope you can join us.

Saturday, 16 February - Molten Java, 102 Greenwood Ave.  Bethel CT FREE SHOW!  We play from 8 PM 'til closing.


FEBRUARY 2008

Wednesday, 27 February - Georgetown Saloon from 7:30 - 10;30.  Come out and enjoy dinner and some great live acoustic music!  Click the link for details; this is a great meal they've got planned at the saloon!

MARCH 2008
Saturday, 15 March - We'll be singin' our Irish tunes at Molten Java, 102 Greenwood Ave., Bethel CT, from 8 until closing!  COme on out and sing along!

Sunday, 16 March - Join us at the White Plains Indoor Farmer's Market for some great Irish music and lots of goodies for sale!  Admission to the Market is free, but parking at the County Center is $4.00.  Location:  198 Central Park Ave., junction of the Bronx River Parkway and Tarrytown Rd [Rt 119] in White Plains.  The market is open from 10 - 4; our play time TBA, but expect it to be early rather than later.   This was a FUN GIG!!!

Monday, 17 March - CANCELLED DUE TO A DEATH IN THE DANIEL'S FAMILY. OUR SYMPATHIES TO EVERYBODY AT DANIEL'S, AND WE APOLOGIZE TO OUR FANS FOR THIS LATE NOTICE. We will be at Daniel's Fine Catering in the early evening, playing and singing some great Irish and sing-along music.  Come on out and enjoy great food, music, and company!  Dube Lane, Waterbury.

Saturday, 29 March -Steppin' Out Tonight with the Blues at Cheshire Lutheran Church. 

660 West Main St. Cheshire, CT - WE LOVE THIS SHOW!!!  If you only come to one show a year, make it this one!  Rosin the Bow and friends, Cece Borjeson and Ruth George, the Southington Chamber Singers (featuring Gwen Hopko), and My Dad's Truck are bluer than blue with an all blues review.  This is the fundraiser for the Relay for Life of Cheshire.  The cost is a Free will offering at the door.  Refreshments will be available for purchase at intermission.   For more info email marta@rosinthebow.com or call (203) 272-5910.
